O Instituto Brasileiro de Museus reconhece o coletivo cultural Ponto de Memória Virtual São José dos Campos Antigamente, representado por Wagner Donizette Ribeiro, como Ponto de Memória, a partir dos critérios estabelecidos pela Portaria Ibram nº 579, de 29 de julho de 2021.
Este certificado comprova que o coletivo cultural desenvolve programas, projetos e ações de museologia social, pautadas na gestão participativa e no vínculo com a comunidade e seu território, visando à identificação, registro, pesquisa e promoção do patrimônio material e imaterial, contribuindo para o reconhecimento e valorização da memória social brasileira.
